The waters surrounding Isla del Cerralvo and Punta Arena de las Ventanas offer some of the very best fishing in the Sea of Cortez during the months of April - November. For the last 8 years we have been working very closely with the panga captains that call this area home. It is our opinion that they have become the best fly fishing and light tackle fleet in Baja. With the closing of Hotel Las Arenas , we needed to find the best way to utilize this fleet and this incredible fishing zone.

We have developed a rock solid program using the Hotel La Concha in La Paz and transferring our fishing guests to these waters by air-conditioned vehicle. We chose to use the La Concha because it is just out of town and is a very nice quiet resort. It is the only resort in La Paz with a nice beach. They have a great restaurant and bar and the rooms have brand new air conditioning which will make staying during the hottest fishing months comfortable. If you want to go into La Paz to enjoy the city it is a short cab ride.

The transfer to the fishing takes one hour, but the biggest advantage is that once you arrive, the fishing is seldom more that a ten minute run and the live bait is available right near the beach. The end result will be the most time spent fishing on a 7 hour charter with much less running time to the fishing.
